Our affordable hotel rooms are divided into 6 Standards Rooms, 11 Superior Rooms, 17 Junior Suites, 4 Family Suites, 10 Chalets, 1 Master Suite and 1 Matrimonial Suite.
Besides of all the basic amenities, such as cable TV, telephone, hair dryer, etc, we also have a mini refrigerator, microwave oven, extra bed, crib and wheel chair available for you upon request. Our restaurant also offers room service. Arenal Lodge specializes in making our guests feel as comfortable as possible at our rainforest inn.
Hotel Arenal Lodge is situated near the Arenal Volcano National Park in la Fortuna of San Carlos, in the province of Alajuela, which is in the northern region of Costa Rica.
The most used route to go from San José to la Fortuna is via San Ramón (Driving time is around 3 to 3.5 hours):
1. Take the Highway towards San Ramón, approximately 56 Km.
2. Exit at San Ramón on right hand and drive straight down the main road, until you reach a dead end. Turn left 2 blocks, then right onto the road to La Fortuna.
3. Follow the signs to La Fortuna and Arenal.
4. Once you are in La Fortuna, keep driving in direction to the lake. The entrance to Hotel Arenal Lodge is 200 meters northwest of the dam of the lake Arenal.
RESTAURANT The Restaurant at Hotel Arenal Lodge serves fresh seafood, meat and pasta all day long and it is a local tourist attraction due to its exclusive location with the most astonishing view of the Arenal Volcano.
